1. Some of MUHU admixtures are in powder form. Can I get specific instruction on how to use?
To make transport convenient, Most of MUHU admixtures are provided in powder form which should be dissolved into water by a certain ratio before use. Please don’t worry about usage. MUHU is proud of a professional and committed technical team who will give instructions before, during and after sales upon request. Whenever there’s question, please feel free to let us know.
2. Can I have some sample first to do lab test and trial use?
MUHU favors the practice to provide samples for lab test and trial use first, as construction material performance is closely related to local conditions. MUHU will give technical support during test and help analyze test result.
3. How many samples can I ask from MUHU each time?
Three samples. MUHU will provide 500g of each sample free of ex-factory cost while customer covers DHL express charges and DGM (Dangerous Material) inspection which is required by airline for all chemical products.
4. How can I pay express charges for samples?
A. If customers have international express account such as DHL/TNT/UPS/FEDEX, samples can be sent on collection basis.

5. What payment term does MUHU accept?
Generally, we accept 100% irrevocable L/C at sight and 100% T/T in advance. If there’s special occasion on customer side, we’d leave it to decide after fully discussion with customers.

8. How many types of polycarboxylate superplasticzer are there in market?
Two series, PC and PCE. PC has both powder and liquid form, while PCE is only available as liquid.
PC liquid has different concentrations. Most commonly used ones are 30%, 40% and 50%. PC can also compound with other components to make retarding admixture that’s specially used in ready mix concrete.
MUHU provides production know-how transfer on PC. As for newly developed production system of PCE, MUHU offers project cooperation opportunity.
9. What are the most important test items that I should pay attention to during test of superplasticizers?

10. What should I do or notice before product use?
Lab test is recommended before product use. As cement type and aggregate may be different, test should be conducted to determine an appropriate dosage before using in large scale.
11. What should I keep in mind during lab test?
A Read MUHU product brochure carefully, especially technical data sheet.
B Adjust dosage according to technical requirement.
C As superplasticizer performance is closely related to cement type, aggregate, ambient temperature and job-site conditions, a highly simulative lab testing condition is necessary to ensure a valuable test result.

12. What’s the recommended dosage of PC?
The recommended dosage of PC-Powder is 0.2% by weight of cementitious materials. That of PC-Liquid (50%) is 0.4% by weight of cementitious materials. However, lab test is highly recommended so as to optimize dosage.
13. How should I use PCP and PCL?
They can be applied directly or after dilution to a certain concentration. For example, 1kg of PCL(50%) can be dissolved into 4kg of water to make a 10% concentration liquid. The dosage thereafter is 2% by weight of cementitious materials.
PCP and PCL be used as raw material to compound admixture that’s specially used in ready mix concrete. Here’s the general formula to make 1ton of RMC-use admixture.
Retarding Agent (MNC-BS/MNC-PS): 15kg-20kg
Air Entraining Agent (MNC-AE2): 2kg
The recommended dosage of RMC-use admixture is 2%-2.5% by weight of cement.
Note: The material consumption in this formula can be proportionately increased or reduced according to required quantity of finished product.
14. How many types of Naphthalene based Superplasticizer are there in market?
Naphthalene Superplasticizer has two grades according to different sodium sulfate content, UNF-5 (Na2SO4 18% max) and FDN (Na2SO4 5% max). We can also produce FDN with a Na2SO4 content of 3% at maximum according to customer request,.
Owing to good compatibility with cement and other admixtures, naphthalene superplasticizer can compound with other components to produce concrete admixtures of specific features, such as high range water reducing and air-entraining agent, high range water reducing and accelerating agent, high range water reducing and retarding admixture, pumping aid admixture and so on.
15. What’s the similarity and difference of UNF-5 and FDN?
Both of them have high water reducing ability, bring good fluidity and high concrete strength. Meanwhile they have good compatibility with varieties of cement.
Compared with UNF-5, FDN is more resistant to bring crystallization in harsh cold winter time. Besides, for application in textile and pigment industry, FDN works as a good dispersant.
16. Can naphthalene superplasticizer be used as a raw material to compound admixtures? Where are the admixtures mainly applied?
The two grades of naphthalene superplasticizer can be used directly as superplasticizer or after compounding with other components. MNC-A1, high range water reducing and accelerating admixture, is used when ambient temperature is minus 80C at lowest. MNC-C15, high range water reducing and anti-freezing admixture is used when ambient temperature is minus 200C at lowest. MNC-HAJ, high range water reducing and air-entraining agent, is widely applied in road construction and hydraulic projects. MNC-D1, high range water reducing and water repellent admixture, is for use in basement, swimming pool, kitchen, lavatory and so on. High range water reducing and retarding admixture is often used in ready mix concrete.

1. What production lines does MUHU have? What’s the corresponding production capacity?
With separate liquid production lines of Naphthalene Superplasticizer, Amino Aryl Sulphonate Superplasticizer, Polycarboxylate Superplasticizer, Sodium Melamine Formaldehyde Superplasticizer and Aliphatic Superplasticizer etc., MUHU has a production capacity of 200,000 tons per year for a variety of admixtures. MUHU also possesses drying equipment with drying capacity of 50,000 tons annually and automatic dry mortar production line with annual production capacity of 300,000 tons.
2. I plan to build a Naphthalene Superplasticizer production line, but I’m not a technical expert. Is it possible that MUHU makes a general scheme for me to get a basic understanding?

All-in-one design, no heat production and automatic precise control.

8. What are the cooperation patterns on this project?
Cooperation patterns shall be decided upon basis of mutual benefit and thorough discussion. As a reference, successful practices among MUHU existing cooperation partners are as follows:
a) MUHU provides related technical services for free on condition that equipment should be purchased from MUHU. Meanwhile, in order to hold control on raw material quality and make full use of raw material competitive price in China market, MUHU provides group purchase service for cooperation partners.
b) MUHU provides related technical services for free on condition that for each MT of primary liquid produced from MH-PCL-2A, MUHU charges a royalty of 10 USD. Royalties are cleared once every time the production reaches 1000 tons. Alternatively, royalties can be cleared once a year from the date when contract is signed. Whichever day comes first will be payment day. In this case, cooperation partner doesn’t need purchase raw materials from MUHU. But MUHU can still provide support in quality inspection.
9. Who shall be responsible for investment on this production system? How much is it?
The investment on this production system is estimated at around 50,000 USD which should be the responsibility of cooperation partner.
