Concrete Steam Curing Agent
MNC-B / CB
Description
MNC-B is a concrete steam curing agent that’s not air-entraining, no retarding. When using it in concrete, the water reducing rate is18% and air content is as low as 1.9%. Early strength reaches to over 160% on 1st day, 150% on 3rd day and 145% on 7th day. It has no corrosion to steel bars.
MNC-CB is anti-freezing type can be used when ambient temperature is minus 15 celsius degree at lowest. It has early strengthening, water reducing effect without air-entraining and retarding. It facilitates curing at low temperature.
Features
- When It’s used in steam curing concrete, it’s preferable to leave out waiting time and increase temperature directly which will save curing time for around 50% or lower curing temperature.
- When it’s used for natural curing, it shortens curing time and accelerates mould release.
- When it’s used for making concrete products, it can save cement use–alternatively cement of lower grade can be used. In this way, production capacity can be improved together with saved energy and cost.
Application
It’s specially
designed for precast concrete products.
Usage
It’s a powder product. Put stone, sand, cement into the mixer in order. Then scatter this material on cement in the mixer. Dry mix them for 3 minutes at least. Casting and vibrating methods are the same with blank concrete.

Storage & Handling
Special care should be taken to avoid dampness and damage during transportation. Store it in dry and well ventilated place. In case of agglomeration due to dampness, crush it and sift through 0.63 mm mesh before reuse.
Its shelf life is 3 years.
Standard Compliance
MNC-A is a high range water reducing and accelerating admixture. It meets ASTM C 494 requirements for Type E, water-reducing and accelerating and Type F, high range water reducing.
